At first I was pretty skeptical about this anime when I was looking at the chart. It just said fantasy on it. I wasn’t to sure if it was something I wanted to follow but I really like the premise of the show. An otaku who really isn’t good at anything except being an otaku is sent into another world where elves, dragons, magic, etc… exist. He is sent there on a diplomatic mission to spread otakuness into the world.
Really all this anime is about is moe. There is so much moe in this anime it’s ridiculous. The otaku is now being treated as a “master” and he gets a cute servant. The “king” of the land is a 16 yr old girl. She’s there for those lolicons… I am interested to see what kinda romance springs from these episodes and intrigued to see where it really goes from here.
In episode 2, the king really wants to get to know the otaku culture to see if it “worthy” enough to spread it to the country. She get’s a little jealous of our half-elf half-human friend. I like how they shove in some equality into this episode, I hope they stick with that theme. (Morals and ethics make anime’s good). tbh, the plot line is nothing spectacular, it’s really just a moe show, but hey, I liked K-ON so maybe I’ll like this.
I also like the parody of Shingeki no Kyojin they stuck in there for the manga. ahahah, Well that’s pretty much all I have to say about these episodes, I think we are going to see some conflict in the next one. Atleast, I hope so.
