Well, I can honestly say that was almost a train-wreck that turned into a good anime. Let me explain. You know how at about episode 2 or 3, they hyped up the dreamshade and it ended so fast? Well, I thought that was going to happen in this one, where the dreamshade just dies to the POWER OF LOVE. I was watching it build to that when they were closing their eyes and holding hands I thought the dreamshade would just die some how. I’m glad that didn’t happen and I’m glad the fight scenes weren’t disappointing.
I think one thing they could have done would be to make this anime longer. I feel like they rushed the ending and the story line a bit too fast. They had a lot of backstory going on and they could have done a lot more with it, so for that I was quite disappointed at how short and rushed this anime was.
To be utterly and completely honest, I think the anime would have been better if they kept mirai dead. Like why not? You guys already made everyone emotional and it would have made the sad ending legendary. It would have been such a great twist, but no they had to kill her and bring her back. I really don’t like it when stories do this. They should just kill them off and be done with the character, it really makes for a much more serious dynamic.

Art Animation 8/10
It was pretty well done. If you like great fight scenes and flashy art, this is a good one to watch. If anything just watch it for the fight scenes. There are some awesome places where they really just out did themselves.
I really liked the OP/ED and insert songs. I think they all worked very well with the anime and you can expect these to be on my ipod playlist for a longtime.
To be honest, they could have done so much more with this kind of setting. They had this crazy world set-up and they just rushed it so fast. I feel like the potential they had was ruined by what they really showed. I think the romance was good in this anime, but it could have been so much better if they just showed us the steps more progressively. Slower build up and better climax.
Character Development 7/10
I liked all the characters, I really did, I just think they could have dove more into their lives. You all know how much of a Mitsuki fan I am. But Ai-Chan really stole the spot light in several places. The dance in episode 6 or 7 and of course whenver she turns into a cat. She is just awesome! Again, characters well done, but I wanted to know so much more about them. I really wish this was a longer anime, more time for development. Longer development, longer story, more personal relationship.
I’m kind of torn as to what to give this anime. It was pretty good for a short anime, but it could’ve been so much better if it was. Well, I don’t think I was quite satisfied with this last episode and for that reason I will give it the latter end of my rating.
